Challenge

Canadian policy makers would like to have a comprehensive overview of emerging technology shaping distinct areas of the Canadian economy.

Solution

Envisioning executed a joint research and summarized the perspective of 50+ experts about the state of tech development in Canada. The process included several thematic brainstorming sessions with industry experts. Each session began with Envisioning research input and resulted in a cross-checked list of technologies for six key industries.

Value Added

The research results were published in Metascan 3, an report for public policy makers in the Canadian government and it helped the audience make more informed policy decisions.
